Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actress, singer and song writer. The most famous of her characters is Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," a comedy TV show. Even though she sings but her main passion is music. According to her, music was always her first love. After she turned 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough that she began formal training. In 2013, she picked the plunge into songwriting and made her first album. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia is a native of America with Hispanic origins. Although she was raised speaking solely English and never lived in Mexico she's very proud of her Hispanic culture. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs, she tries to keep the culture alive. She recorded a Spanish version of the song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen from the submission of a YouTube video and was awarded four "yes" vote from judge at the time of live auditions held in Seattle, Washington. Although she originally auditioned as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female vocalists were placed in a group for the rest in the selection process. Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
