Silk was born in Fredericton (New Brunswick), Canada. Ilkay Silk was a well-known actress, director and producer who taught in St. Thomas University. Her parents were Peter who was a renowned academic. Anna is a part first memories of watching and going to play rehearsals. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid.
