Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows such as How to Be Single Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, has an older sister Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. In the age of 3 years old she performed professionally in the Shake 'n Bake commercial for national television. Momsen's career came to a halt for over three years, until she landed a lead role in Misconceptions, a WB series Misconceptions. Also at this time Momsen appeared in the film Saving Shiloh. Momsen was in the top three for Hannah Montana, but Miley was chosen for the part.
